Westlife star Shane Filan and his wife Gillian have been living in Sligo for several years after purchasing their current home nearly eight years ago.

The stunning beachfront property near Rosses Point was sold to the couple for €780,000 in 2014 and they have certainly made it a beautiful home for themselves and their three children.

The couple’s three children feature regularly in the pair’s social media accounts, particularly as lockdown confined the family to their home for much of the time.

The six bedroom, five bathroom, home has plenty of room for the couple and their children Nicole, Patrick and Shane Jnr.

The family moved to Surrey in the UK in 2012 when Shane was forced to sell his dream family home he built in Sligo after he went bankrupt following the crash. Despite the mansion being valued at a whopping €10 million at the height of the boom, it was sold for just €800,000.

The home is right on the beach and boasts gorgeous coastline views.

The back garden has a comfortable padded seating area with a gorgeous sea view, a BBQ, and a wicker table and chairs for eating al fresco.

Inside, it looks like the family has gone for a classic muted palette, with lots of white and grey tones. The home is decorated with lots of mirrors, while framed photos and bunches of flowers add a homely touch to the space.
